Fliers

A photographed missing-cat poster becomes a cat plus its owner. Everything the camera read is a suggestion; correct what it got wrong.

The wizard#

The text step shows one card per line read from the poster, the target under it; the X or a swipe puts a line aside, Undo brings it back. Then the cat's data, the owner's contact, a face crop for the profile picture, the registry numbers on the poster, and a final check. A template for the registry's layout, TASSO for one, assigns the lines; a hand-made poster leaves them for you.

What it makes#

A cat that is a stray, with the owner's home as its clowder and the missing-since day from the poster; the place the poster was photographed is its flier position, a square pin on the map. A flier added to a cat you already have dates its running away to the flier's day.

Posters that hang and come down#

"Flier hangs here" on a cat's page records another poster where the phone is; a hold on the map does the same for a chosen cat. Every poster is a pin; a hold on it offers "Flier taken down", which removes that position and keeps the row in the history.
